Why Spray Tan? 

Spray tanning is a safe and effective way to achieve a ‘gorgeous vacation glow instantly without the harsh and dangerous consequences of the sun.  From beginning to end, the process takes between 20-30 minutes and when you leave our studio you will walk out looking like your absolute best.

Our rapid solution can be washed off between 2-4 hours depending on your desired shade. This is the perfect option for same-day events or if you don’t have time to wait 8 hours for your first shower.

BEFORE YOU GLOW: Dos and Don’ts Before your Spray Tan Appointment:

• Schedule all beauty appointments 24 hours before your sunless tan (waxing, manicure/pedicure, facial, massage, etc;)

• Please make sure to shower (this includes washing your hair), shave and exfoliate prior to your appointment. It is very important not to use any oil-based, or heavy products before your appointment. They can act as a barrier to the skin and may prevent the tan from fully developing.

  TIP: To exfoliate use a body brush, exfoliating gloves or just plain brown sugar to prep the skin.

• Arrive at your appointment with no: lotions, oils, perfume, deodorant, makeup or any other type of barrier on your skin. 

• Stay hydrated and your skin moisturized days leading up to your appointment.

AFTERGLOW: Dos and Don’ts After your appointment:

• In order for the tan to fully develop, avoid sweating or getting wet until your instructed time to rinse. Not following these directions can cause blotchiness or the tan to streak.

• For your first rinse, use lukewarm water, no oily or rough products and expect to see the cosmetic bronzer coming off in the shower. Rinse until the water runs clear and pat your skin dry. (Please note that you will be left with a lighter tan than what will develop over the next 24 hours or so.)

• To prolong your tan avoid products with mineral oils, alcohol, fragrance and do not use any exfoliants.

• Moisturize twice daily.

FAQ:

1. What should I wear during my appointment?

   Ladies: Tan in whatever you feel comfortable- please note tanning nude is the best way to ensure the most natural-looking tan.
   Men: Industry-standard requires men to wear an undergarment while tanning. Please bring a swimsuit, boxer/briefs or a sock. Going nude is not an option.

   After your appointment:
   Please bring dark, loose-fitting clothing and sandals to leave your appointment in.

2. What is DHA?
   Dihydroxyacetone or DHA is a simple carbohydrate that is misted directly onto the skin. It creates a non-toxic browning effect when coming into contact with the amino acids on your skin.
3. How long does the appointment take?
   Allow 30-40 minutes for your appointment.
4. Can I get a spray tan if my skin is peeling or I am sunburned?
   This can cause the tan to come out extremely patchy leaving your tan looking uneven. We recommend waiting until your skin has fully healed before coming in for a spray tan.
5. Is spray tanning safe if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
   We require you to check with your Doctor before coming in for your tan. We are happy to provide you with a list of ingredients for our solutions. 
6. How long will my tan last?
   With proper post tan care, your tan can last from 7-10 days.
